छत्तीसगढ़ के सूरजपुर जिले में प्रधान आरक्षक की पत्नी और बेटी की हत्या के बाद पुलिस अधीक्षक (एसपी) एमआर अहिरे का तबादला कर दिया गया है, और उन्हें रायपुर मुख्यालय भेजा गया है। उनकी जगह प्रशांत ठाकुर नए एसपी होंगे। इस हत्या ने पुलिस विभाग में हड़कंप मचा दिया था, जिसके चलते एमआर अहिरे की भूमिका पर सवाल उठ रहे थे।
