रायपुर स्थित श्री नारायण प्रसाद अवस्थी शासकीय आयुर्वेद महाविद्यालय के असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डॉ. राजेश सिंह ने बताया कि पचौली का आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है. इससे न केवल सुगंधित तेल प्राप्त किया जाता है बल्कि वात, पित्त, त्वचा विकार, सामान्य सर्दी, वैरिकाज नस, चिंता, यौन कमजोरी, सूजन, अपच, गठिया, गठिया, खांसी और भूख न लगना जैसी समस्याओं के इलाज के लिए भी प्रयोग किया जाता है.
